Let's Get Away

Yes, we’ve lucked out in the snow department this year, but that doesn’t mean my hands aren’t still icicles approximately 20 hours a day or that I’m not getting sick of thinking of different ways I can wear layers. That means the time has come to bust out of this joint. Destination? Anywhere that my wardrobe requires me to shave my legs and get a fresh pedi. 

What are we packing? 50 shades of white.

Load up on those fresh white tees and tank tops. Keep it casual for your daytime excursions or shopping with a tank top and your go-to pair of jeans or show off that sun kissed color at dinner with a bright white tee and a simple dress pant. 

We all have our favorite pair of linen pants that have to patiently wait in the closet until Memorial Day calls them out to join the fun. Those rules don’t apply on vacation, so let them break out early. They’ll take you from poolside straight into happy hour at the hotel bar, and no one will know the wiser.

Last but not least, it’s maxi dress time. We usually think of bright colors and patterns with our maxi’s, but sometimes, less is more...and in this case, less color, more simplicity. We’re currently obsessing over Brochu Walker’s Madsen Maxi, that is, quite frankly, perfection.

We’ve done the hard work for you, so the rest is up to you. No matter where you end up, it’s always going to be 5 o’clock there… and you can’t ask for much more than that.
